Guest Speaker Brief Bio of Rev. Emmanuel Twagirimana

Rev. Emmanuel Twagirimana is an Evangelist who has travelled to many countries preaching the good news of salvation, holiness, forgiveness, peace, and reconciliation between men. Emmanuel was a Christian businessman in the city of Kigali in the Country of Rwanda, where he pioneered a hospital visitation ministry and owned two successful businesses.

He was badly injured by the shrapnel of a bomb during the war/genocide of Rwanda and due to lacking proper medical care, he succumbed to his injuries and died. Seven days later his rotting corpse returned to life sending fear and panic among the living injured people. Those who had wrapped his corpse confirmed the fact that he had been dead for seven days. Many people came to him to hear about his testimony of “seven days in heaven”. The story about his experience of death and back to life narrated in his book “Seven Days in Heaven” – encourages people to walk in love, joy, and holiness.

In obedience to the command given to him by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Emmanuel embarked on his mission of telling the world the message of salvation, while still healing from the injuries sustained during the genocide. He has spoken in many crusades, conferences, and churches in Europe, North and South America, Australia, Africa, and Asia in the last 30 years. His message of the glories of heaven is backed by the demonstration of God’s power through miracles and answered prayers.

Rev. Emmanuel is married to Isabelle, and they are blessed with four children. They currently live in Abbotsford, BC, from where continues in the evangelistic and apostolic work to all people especially to the First nations people of Canada.
